EnQuanta Press Release
EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, FEBRUARY 25, 2026
EnQuanta, a leader in quantum-resilient cryptography, today announced it has updated its website after restrictions previously imposed by the U.S. Patent Office and Commerce Department on the disclosure and export of our QuantaCrypt™ dynamic-hybrid cryptography have been officially lifted.
In September 2024, the U.S. Patent Office placed disclosure limitations on all 18 of the patent filings for our hybrid cryptographic technology by issuing the only “John Doe” Secrecy Orders for FY2025. As a result, EnQuanta could only communicate with authorized U.S. Government agencies and personnel. See https://sgp.fas.org/othergov/invention/stats.html
Over the past two years, EnQuanta has actively engaged the U.S. Office of Naval Research (ONR) and National Security Agency (NSA), as well as the Departments of State and Commerce to secure lifting of the Secrecy Orders for the dual-use commercial version of our QuantaCrypt cryptography. We also sought full compliance with Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) encryption export control regulations. As part of these processes, both International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) and Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System (CCATS) filings were submitted to support the controlled and lawful export of the commercial version of our cryptographic technologies to non-embargoed countries and customers.
This marks a significant milestone for EnQuanta that enables us to serve a broader group of customers. We look forward to delivering our QuantaCrypt technology that incorporates and enhances NIST Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards to protect critical data against current and future Quantum and AI threats.
